Michael Appleton has Request

Dear Sir,

I am seeking your assistance in obtaining information about
Col. William F. Maher.   He was my Great Uncle, a career Army Officer who lived in Los Angeles after WWII.   He passed away when I was very young and I never had the opportunity to meet him.   My father who also served during WWII spoke very fondly of him and gave me some of his citations prior to his passing.

Uncle Bill, Col. Maher, was a survivor of the Bataan Death March.   I am hoping your organization may have a member who knew my Uncle.   Please feel free to write if you have any information or can direct me to other resources.
