"I was recently told by a friend of the family that my uncle, Paul Charles Catlett was involved in the Bataan Death March and that his picture was on the front of a magazine cover.

Paul served in the South Pacific and England and was awarded the Bronze Star for service in the South Pacific.   His living children know nothing about this, but have some unpleasant pictures that their father took while serving in the Pacific.   I have never seen them.   They say their father never talked about his war experiences.

Paul was born July 7, 1909 in Birch Tree, Missouri and died January 4, 1973 at the Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, MO.   I'd appreciate any help in uncovering any information I could about Paul."
