I am both author and publisher of "Under The Samurai Sword" (in paperback).   It tells my horrible story in a light and casual way.   The book is being used in some high school history classes and even in some church Sunday schools.

Tom Brokaw's second book, "The Greatest Generation Speaks" tells some of my story, pages 4 through 7.   NBC News taped a video at my home which appeared on NBC before Father's Day, 2001.
