I was in the Marine Corps stationed at Caviti, PI when the war started.
We joined the 4th Marines as the 3rd Battalion on Corregidor.
Following our capture, spent a short time in Cabanatuan
then went to Mukden Manchuria at the POW camp,
where I remained till September 1945
when we were taken out.
