For all Ex-Prisoners of War

There are programs and benefits available
to you through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Compensation is available for the health problems you
suffer as a result of your Prisoner of War experience.
There are approximately 20 Presumptive Diseases that
if you have the disease NOW it is presumed to have
been caused by your being a Prisoner of War.

Compensation ranges from
$103/month to $2163/month at 100%.

For the widows in the ADBC,
Dependent Indemnity Compensation (DIC)
$935/month can be paid if,
your husband died of a service-connected disease
or has been receiving 100% compensation for 1 year.

Your National Service Officer can help you and
advise you in filing for the benefits you deserve.

REMEMBER
THIS IS COMPENSATION! -- YOU EARNED IT!
IT IS NOT CHARITY! -- IT IS TAX FREE!
