The Combat Action Ribbon for combat
service from Dec. 6, 1941 and before March 1 1961 is now being awarded.
Two periods are involved. World War II Dec 7 1941- April
14, 1946 and Korea June 27, 1950 - July 27, 1954.
Requirements are simple:
1. Standard form 180 (I have or can be obtained from most county
veterans service offices)
2. Copy of military discharge of DD 214 or Naval Personnel Form.
3. Any substantiating documents showing combat awards, unit attached
to
