Inaugural Issue
Posted on December 5th, 2005 by AlexWelcome to the inaugural issue of the new Class of 1999 Homepage! For those of you who are wondering, Bill Torey is still out there doing great things in the Army. Between his role as an SF team leader and his new wife, he hasn’t had much time to spend on the website, so we agreed that I would see what I could do with it. There is no content outside of this page yet, but I’ll add it as it gets to me.
A lot of things have changed over the past six years for the Class of 1999; we’ve lost some classmates, been all over the globe on deployments and duties, started families, gone to graduate school, and had any other number of interesting adventures. I’d like our website to be a compilation of those experiences, including letters, pictures, and stories that can showcase the accomplishments of our class since graduation.
As a side note, I’d like to put up a page dedicated to each of our fallen classmates. If anyone has pictures of them that I could put up on the site I’d appreciate if you would email them to me.
Other than that, please send articles, pictures, spirit videos (new and old), or just a quick note to acammenga (at) west-point (dot) org. I’ll compile ad-hoc notes and updates into a regular newsletter-style post, and other, more detailed articles as stand-alone content.
Thanks,
Alex Cammenga
