Dear Friends:
You can click from here to the registration form for the West Point Class of 1988 20th Reunion and a printable schedule of reunion events.
You'll note that the event prices are much the same as they were five
and even ten years ago -- our committee worked hard to keep the reunion
reasonable. As always, the reunion has been planned at cost.
As many of you indicated a desire to be somehow "uniformed" for the old
grad parade, we created a goodie bag with items for the parade. A
registration fee covers the reunion items.
Several companies are holding their own tailgates. We'll start posting
those places and times soon. For those companies who desire to hold
their tailgates inside Ike prior to the game, that item is on the
registration form. For those of you in a company not making any
tailgate plans, by all means sign up for the Ike event and say hello.
Homecoming Game tickets must be purchased from Army Athletics. The
toll-free phone number is 1-877-TIX-ARMY. Or you may go to the Army
Athletics Web site, select "class seating," and scroll down to Class of
1988.
For those of
you who would like to order additional '88 memorabilia items over and
above the goodie-bag offerings, go to the AOG site.
If you have any questions, send me a note at

Updates to follow. I look forward to seeing you at the reunion.
Best wishes,

-- Dan Rice (G-2) was recently awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Two
classmates, John Vigna (G-2) and Bill Reed (G-4), were on hand for the
awarding and pinning by Admiral Olson, commander of Special Operations.
-- Brian Mennes (A-4), new Battalion Commander 1/75 Rangers, continues to make news, after completing command in Afghanistan. I'm not sure what's
classified and what's not, but, to be sure, he's kicking ass and
instilling the warrior spirit in scores of young, inspired soldiers.
-- Greg Ebner (B-1) has been nominated as Deputy Head of the Department
of Foreign Languanges and Professor USMA. So it looks like '88 will
have at least one permanent fixture at USMA for decades to come.
-- Dave Kim's (D-4) organization, Children of Fallen Patriots, recently
approached the quarter-million-dollar mark for donations. His group
provides college scholarships to military kids who have lost a parent
to combat in the GWOT. If you'd like to donate or learn more, the
organization's website is www.fallenpatriots.org.
