Greetings Sportsfans - On April 19 seven crew mates and I will be participating in the first Indian Ocean Rowing Race. The eight of us will be rowing a 36' ocean going rowboat from Geraldton, Australia to Mauritius, Africa - a distance of about 3,600 miles. No support, no sails, no motors, etc. If all goes well, we'll hopefully make the crossing in 6-7 weeks (or so . . .). Anyway, if you find yourself bored at work, please log on to our team website - www.PirateRow.com - and you can read all about it. Our boat (and the others in the race) will be tracked throughout the race, and you can click the link to the official race site and see where we are at any given time, read race blogs, twitter updates, etc. It ought to be somewhat entertaining and, even if it violates you company's internet usage policy, at least it ain't porn!
