We have a 20 Year Reunion photo gallery started and some of you have already started to upload pictures or send them to me to get them up. Keep them coming!

You can post the pictures yourself. Logon the website and upload them. When you first logon, there is a page with instructions and you will find upload instructions there.

Please resize the pictures before you post them. Smaller pictures work better with the site layout and are easier on anybody still on a dial-up connection. I use the Image Resize Power Toy from Microsoft to resize pictures and resize them to fit a 640x480 screen. That works fairly well with our site layout.

Classmates-

Wow--what an awesome reunion weekend in every aspect!

As we have been working to reconcile our attendance numbers and vendor payments, several classmates approached members of the reunion committee and members of the Ike Hall staff  during specific events indicating their attendance at a event for which they had not registered and paid.   If you fall into this category, please return to the reunion registration site and pay for those events ASAP.

I appreciate all those who have already completed this.  If you have any questions, please contact me directly.

Thank you in advance

Go Army, Beat Central Michigan,
Donna McAleer

Class Database

The class database is dead.

It was an old Windows based web application on one of the oldest servers you ever saw. There was also very little running on the server, little interest in Windows based stuff and only one person supporting it unlike the other WP-ORG services. With only us and two other groups using it and too few Windows support volunteers, it was not replaced when the server died.

You can still access all the data with this spreadsheet. You will need to login with the old database userid and password to download the spreadsheet.

There are other options for running most of the database functionality but they have not been fully explored yet.

Website Upgrade

The class website is in the process of being upgraded to a newer version of the software that runs the site. Not everything has been brought forward yet. You can still find everything at the old site. All our stories should be here but not everything will be brought forward. Most of the functionality will be recreated here in one way or another.

One reason for the upgrade is the server where the class database lives is being retired. The server runs Windows and there is little interest in Windows specific features these days at WP-ORG so there will be no new Windows server. The class database will be integrated into the main site in some format or another.
