The Reunion Committee held its first IPR via phone conference on September 27th and scheduled its next one for October 25. Things are moving along well. Few details are solid enough yet to post but a tentative agenda will be coming shortly.
Some highlights are lodging will be scattered across several hotels closer to West Point than we have done in the past. Being close to West Point is something the class overwhelmingly wanted but there are no hotels large enough to hold all of us. Being scattered across several hotels should not matter much since we are planning all our events at West Point itself instead of at hotels off post. We are planning on having a golf tournament on Thursday morning and a reception Thursday evening. Friday will be relatively lightly scheduled with a memorial service, lunch, USMA staff presentation and quick class meeting. The Friday night dinner will be one of our major functions. We should have several hours for wandering around to see how things look today. Saturday, if we are not rained out, we will be doing the parade, having a class picture made, eating lunch in the messhall, watching Army beat the heck out of somebody and then having a tailgate.
