It is with an extremely heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Brandon Michael Knapp, the eldest son of Dent and Heather Knapp. Brandon died on Saturday July 1, 2006. He was 20 years old. He had lived in Liberty County, GA for the past seven years and was attending Savannah Technical College. Brandon loved sports and was an avid golfer and soccer player. He was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Catholic Church. He was laid to rest in Hinesville, GA. In mid June, Dent and Heather and Scott, their younger son, moved to Fort Leonardwood, MO where Dent assumed command of 1-48th INF BN. The Knapp's are in the process of setting up a memorial fund in Brandon's memory. Please keep the entire family in your thoughts and prayers. In Peace,Donna McAleer |
