Just a quick note to USMA Grads living in Northern Virginia. I am running in a Congressional primary in Virginia's 8th District on June 13th. The winner will run against the 16-year incumbent, Jim Moran, in November.

Due to low expected turn out in the Republican primary, I can win with less than 3,000 votes. Anyone living in Arlington, Alexandria, Reston, Fall Church or the eastern part of Fairfax County Virginia is in the district and your vote will really help.

Below is a link to the campaign website.

The easiest way to vote is via absentee ballot.  Virginia is very generous and most anyone who has to work on Tuesday, June 13th is eligible to vote absentee.  It is the best way to remember to cast your vote.  Below is a link to the absentee ballot request form.

How Do I Apply for an Absentee Ballot?

You can download The Virginia Absentee Ballot Application (pdf format). Or, if you are an absent active duty military voter (or spouse/dependent) or overseas voter you should  download the Federal Post Card Application instead of the Virginia application.  After downloading the application form: 1) print the form, 2) read the instructions accompanying the form, 3) fill out the requested information on the form carefully, 4) sign the form and, 5) mail or fax the completed application  to your local general registrar's office by the Thursday before election day to receive a ballot by mail. We do not accept email submissions of the absentee ballot application.

Thanks for the votes!
