Classmates

While the memory of a spectacular reunion, capped off by a great come from behind win, is still fresh in your mind, please consider making a commitment  to the $1 million gift the class will present at our 25th reunion.  I have two goals for this gift: 1) reach the $1 million mark well before the reunion,  and 2) achieve a class participation rate of 80% or higher in order to truly call this a class gift. Everyone’s participation is paramount.

As I stated in the class meeting, the easiest way for us to reach our $1 million goal is to get 400 people donating $19.87 a month, another 100 people donating $87 a month, and collect one time donations totaling $100K.  We are well on our way to reaching the $100K mark, but we need 500 more classmates to step up to the plate and make a long term commitment.

Several of you took a pledge form with you.  If you did not, the form is attached to this message.  Please think about West Point’s impact on your life and make a commitment today.  As an incentive to give now, for every $1,000 you pledge prior to 31 Oct 07, you will receive one chance to win a beautiful stained glass windowImage.  Remember corporate matching gifts are a tremendous way to increase the value of your personal contribution.  Alternate methods of giving can be found at the WPAOG Website

I am also looking for volunteers to serve on the fund raising  and gift selection committees, and as company fund raising representatives.  Please email me if you are interested in any of these opportunities.

Thank you for helping ensure we live up to our class motto "Our Country We Strengthen" by strengthening our Alma Mater.
