USMA Class of 1987

By now everybody should have received the WP-ORG FD kick-off message. I usually wait a while to start hitting the class with the WP-ORG FD myself but many of us will be in NY for a while and I wanted to do it before we all head out.

Folks, we absolutely could not have done the reunion without WP-ORG without a lot more pain. They made it simple. The reunion committee would have managed but WP-ORG made it a lot simpler.

From a very powerful content management system that made keeping the new up on the web incredibly simple, a collaboration web space for the reunion committee, survey support, a reunion committee mailing list, two class gift committee mailing lists, a class officers list and the main class mailing list, the forum list and the class women's list, WP-ORG's support has been fantastic.

Our reunion registration website has been top notch and service incredible. The latest registration data was alway instantly available. Changing refund and cancellation policies were not problem. (Heck, I know another service a society used for a tailgate that wouldn't even ALLOW refunds or cancellations!) Adding to the existing registrations, no problem. Duplicate registrations? Handled before I even notified anybody. I get a copy of every registration and every transaction that happens and Megan Klein and WP-ORG were amazing. You may have seen mention of the 5% processing fee on credit card transactions but I can tell you, after the credit card companies get their cut of that (most of it) WP-ORG made no money after you account for the time Megan spent working our transactions. (Megan is one of the few real employees and not a volunteer.) We ran her ragged and she took care of us as if it were her own dad's reunion.
