ImageI would like to thank Troy Garrett for donating the stained glass window to help jump start our class fundraising efforts and I would also like to thank everyone who made a pledge to the class gift fund - you have given us a great start in our climb to $1 million. I have conducted a random drawing and am happy to announce that the winner is Ms Andee Hidalgo, congratulations Andee!

Many thanks to all that have made a pledge, we have received over $186K in pledges, but this leaves us well short of our goal of $1 Million. We are also at an extremely low participation rate of 15%. I know as a class that we can and will do better.

Classmates,

Fund raising is off to a good start, but we have a long way to go to get to $1 Million.  The momentum from the reunion has generated $63,741 in gifts and pledges.  Unfortunately this leaves us well short by over $800 K.  and we are also well short of our 80% participation rate goal.

ImageYou have one week left to make a pledge of $1,000 or more which will qualify you for a chance to win a beautiful USMA crest stained glass window.  While my wife is happy with our increased chances of winning, I would love to have some competition.

Please visit the class website to download a pledge form.

Classmates-

Please see the note below which summarizes a very successful program that the Class of 1968 is running to get donations to their class gift fund.  Classmates basically pledge a gift to become a "virtual marcher." The cost to participate in the Grad Marchback is about $120; not sure if they have a minimum donation to be a virtual marcher.

Classmates

While the memory of a spectacular reunion, capped off by a great come from behind win, is still fresh in your mind, please consider making a commitment  to the $1 million gift the class will present at our 25th reunion.  I have two goals for this gift: 1) reach the $1 million mark well before the reunion,  and 2) achieve a class participation rate of 80% or higher in order to truly call this a class gift. Everyone’s participation is paramount.
