I thought everyone would want to hear about a major advancement in armor protection that Brace Barber's company has made within the past few weeks. Brace recently announced that they have demonstrated a material to the defense industry that was extremely well received and has the real potential to replace the Kevlar helmet with one that eliminates head trauma. This is a huge deal, not only for his start-up company, but also for the lives of American soldiers. Way to go Brace!
Looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion and as always GO ARMY!!!! BEAT NAVY!!!!

Black Knights -
PRAISE GOD! If you are in New Orleans this weekend for the New Orleans Jazz Festival YOU MUST stop by and see Walter Cunningham, Jr '87 (Gospel Choir - 83-87) and the Dartmouth College Gospel Choir perform.
If you can't make the Festival then YOU MUST get his CD -"All Hail the Power" as soon as it is available. Ron and I were honored to have both Walter Cunningham & Nate Johnson perform live at our home during our annual Army - Navy Party last December. (YES, we will be having one this year after the game at Raven's Stadium). WOW!!!!! is all I can say. Walter plays better than ever. Ron and I have a pre-released copy of the CD and it is phenomenal.
I hope you will all support Walter & Nate on their musical journey.
Sample CD & Pre-Order at www.waltcunningham.net
CD Available June 4th at www.cdbaby.com
Go Army,

In more ways than one, Edward “Ted” McAleer is an ideal person to fill the role of executive director of USTAR, the Utah Science Technology and Research initiative. USTAR is all about connections—linking ideas with funding, innovative thinking with resources, brains with government brawn—all in the name of long-term statewide economic and business development.
McAleer has made a career out of making connections, building metaphorical and literal bridges, of walking the path from goals to accomplishments. An undergraduate of West Point with a master’s in engineering from the University of Virginia, McAleer realized he “preferred to be a business guy” and needed the obvious—an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. So that’s what he got

What a chatty week we've had. Big change from several years ago when a conversation like that would have driven probably 20% of the mailing list to beg to be unsubscribed. Nobody asked this time around but several did like the idea of a web based job board to reduce the traffic.
