Welcome
to the online store for West-Point.ORG,
the Internet-based organization serving the West Point community. The
prices are discounted and our affiliates will donate up to fifteen percent
of the sales price to West-Point.ORG. You will see the same prices
here as when you go directly to Amazon or the other affiliates. It's just
that we get a commission when you order through our links here. This
is a painless way to support West-Point.ORG!
- What do you offer? This site basically has anything that the Amazon.com site has - books, electronics, CDs, DVDs, etc.
- What items does Amazon sell? We have listed some of the most popular in the left-hand column on this page:
- Why should I use this site instead of going directly to Amazon? Using this site will get you the same product at the same price with the same warranty/return guarantee as buying directly at the Amazon web site. Amazon fulfills your order and collects your money. The benefit is that some of the profit that Amazon normally takes on your purchase is directed to West-Point.ORG as a commission! No cost to you, but a benefit to WP-ORG!
- How can West-Point.ORG get the most commission? Find the product in the lists below and click directly on the "Buy from Amazon.com" link. Remember that to get WP-ORG the maximum commission, find the item on this web site and click on the direct link to Amazon. Come back to this site to find your 2nd, 3rd, or other items instead of searching on Amazon.
- What if I can't find the item I'm looking for? Use the search box in the top of the left-hand column on this page. Choose the correct category (e.g., books) and enter in your search criteria. WP-ORG will still get a commission off of this sale.
| A Testimonial From a User |
One of our graduates sent in the following:
Last week I decided I needed a vacuum cleaner. Wired magazine recently
rated all kinds of things, to include vacuums, and the Bissell 3596 was
their highest rated. So I did what a modern military guy does: I went to
the PX web site. $125, plus 10 bucks for shipping. Quite affordable. On a
whim I decided to check Amazon. $129, but they're shipping anything over
$25 free, and last week they just happened to be taking $25 off any
housewares over $100, too. So I saved $30 over the usually very competitive
AAFES.
I only share this because many people still associate Amazon with just
books, or maybe also CDs. You mentioned that it's much more than books; I
thought this anecdote might help make the point. You can buy anything from
tents to bottled water on Amazon, and, as I proved, usually at extremely
competitive prices.

These are the real stories of the men and women who have attended the oldest Military Academy in the
United States. In their own words, hundreds of graduates have related their memories, superstitions,
pranks, academic challenges, and tributes.
Follow cadets from the past and present as they pass through Thayer gate, central area, barracks, steam
tunnels, attics, and basements of West Point. They relate, in their own words, their precious accounts of
West Point history which have now been preserved for future generations.
West Point Past and West Point Present are merged into one to show that while much of this unique and
majestic place has changed, many of the traditions have been retained through its 200 years of history.
Even as the stories unfolded, new secrets were unveiled.
Rare photographs and lost traditions are a part of the collective stories.
