Major Curt Feistner's family held a memorial service for him at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, Minnesota on Saturday, March 2, 2002. His family interred Curt's body with full military honors at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Sunday, March 3, 2002. The memorial service printed program described Major Curtis Donald Feistner, U.S. Army, as follows:
"In lieu of flowers, memorials Preferred to "Night Stalker Association-Curt Feistner Scholarship Fund" or donor's choice." Checks can be mailed to: Other Night Stalkers lost in the carsh were SGT Jeremy D. Foshee, 25, of Alabama; CPT Bartt D. Owens, USMA 1994, age 30, of Ohio; CW2 Jody L. Egnor, 32, of Ohio; SSG James P. Dorrity, 37, of Goldsboro, NC; SSG Kerry W. Frith, 37, of Jamesville, NV; SSG Bruce A. Rushforth, Jr., 35, of Massachusetts; and SPC Thomas F. Allison, 22, of Tacoma, WA. Two Air Force troops, MSG Wiliam L. McDaniel II and SSG Juan M. Ridout, from the 353d Special Operatoins Group based at Kadena Air Base in Japan, also died in the crash.
