Subject: Once more into the breach dear friends

To all classmates: I have recently been accessed back into the Active Component after having left active duty in 1996. After getting mobilized and deployed for OIF I and working in V Corps G3 for the last 18 months, I know that this is where I want, and need to be. Someone recently asked me why I would go back into the active Army during a time like our country is in now. My response was "where else should a Soldier be?" So, after 5 years in Germany as an engineer in the automotive industry, and as a serving Reservist with V Corps, it's off to our "initial" assignment at Ft. Knox. We are looking forward to the challenge and to being back in the Army Family. See you all at the reunion. Butch
