April 10th, 2006 Dear Classmates, One of the greatest gifts we can offer each other is the gift of remembrance. To that end, I’d like to have Memorials written for our deceased classmates. To date, none have been written. As we are getting older, I think we all realize that we want to leave the world a better place for having been in it. Our class officers have set, as one of many goals, to have published, written Memorial Articles for our deceased classmates. Our list of deceased classmates is: - Anthony J. Lapriore (27 April 1985)
- William B. Gore (23 November 1986)
- Rudolph S. Samuel (1 June 1988)
- Robert B. Wilson (22 July 1989)
- Patrick F. Knapp (22 January 1998)
- Michael D. Manley (23 July 2000)
- Michael J. McMahon (27 November 2004)
- Scott R. Clark (8 April 2005)
- Douglas A. Sperandio (22 May 2005)
I’d like to have classmates who would be interested in contributing toward a memorial or being the collaborator in the writing of the Memorial article to please e-mail me at

Several of you mentioned this to me at the Reunion and several have written beautiful comments on the WP-Org eulogy website. I will either put you in touch with the next of kin for a collaborative effort or collect your treasured memories. I’ve included guidelines for the following: 1) “self-written” memorial information for future publication. (Please see attached PDF document) PLEASE… PLEASE… TAKE THE TIME AND FILL THIS FORM OUT AND E-MAIL IT TO ME: I will make sure it gets to the Memorials editor for the AOG.) 2) Guidelines in the writing of memorial publications. (Please see attached PDF document). Thank you in advance for your gift of time, effort, and remembrance of our deceased classmates. Maureen (Finnessy) Collins Secretary For Excellence We Strive, ‘85
