Keith Robinson pins on Colonel PDF Print E-mail
Written by Valerie Coffey
Friday, 10 March 2006
Our very own Keith Robinson was frocked to Colonel on March 10, 2006, surrounded by family and friends. BG Patrick O’Reilly, Program Director of the Missile Defense Agency Ground Based Midcourse Defense (MDA GMD) Program said “Keith is the right person to be heading up the Test Directorate for the GMD Program. He is the most qualified person in the nation for this job, and over the next six months he will be in the spotlight as nations around the world will be watching as the GMD System is tested in an operational configuration for the first time in history. This testing is the culmination of over 20 years of hard work and a $90 billion investment.”

Due to the critical position Keith is filling, and his proven capability, the US Senate voted to approve his frocking effective February 27, 2006. Keith’s wife Mary Ann and his two kids pinned on his eagles. At one point during his remarks, Keith got teary eyed, but he told the audience that he was “ok with that.”
