Tim:
Some news to share. You may decide whether to post it to the class website news page. I was recently named
to the board of directors of two healthcare companies.
I am now serving on the board of MaxCyte, Inc., a medical device company in Gaithersburg, MD, which
develops customized closed system electroporation devices to enable engineered cell therapy such as cell
based immunotherapy for cancer or gene therapy. I was also named to the board of directors of Novamin
Technologies in Gainesville, FL. Novamin is in the prescription and over-the-counter oral healthcare
business and has a growing line of products selling internationally. I am currently a Partner with
Intersouth Partners, a venture capital firm with >$800 million under management.
