We have all heard about them, we’ve seen them in pictures that grab the headlines and the internet, and I’ve had the honor to see them in action. The Patriot Guard supports any military activity or event to which they are invited.
Here in Huntsville, Alabama, they support all military send-offs, welcome homes, funerals, parades, and veteran-related events. The Patriot Guard is a non-profit organization that spans our great nation to honor our military brethren. The most famous Patriot Guards are the Harley Davidson black jacket riding types. But in reality, members include grandmothers and teenagers, and everyone in between that will volunteer to stand proudly and hold a flag to honor our country and our heroes. They conduct their business over the internet. Once they receive a mission, the mission leader will post OPPLAN on the internet, and the volunteers execute the mission. The Patriot Guard proudly provides their service any where in the United States.
To become a member of the Patriot Guard, request their services, or to learn more, just go to their website: patriotguard.org.
