  • Mooney Honored With Coveted Black Death Award
    Army head football coach Stan Brock announced on Monday that senior FB Collin Mooney has been honored with the team's Black Death Award. The honor is bestowed only in the cases of exceptional, near perfect play.  
  • Army Football Notes: The Eastern Michigan Game
    The Army football team returns to Michie Stadium, hosting Eastern Michigan in the annual homecoming game at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The first 10,000 fans will receive a free mini-replica of Michie Stadium. The Black Knights are coming off a 44-13 win at Tulane last weekend.
  • Flyers Continue Preparations At West Point
    The Philadelphia Flyers, continuing preparations for the upcoming season, skated at Tate Rink this morning and utilized the massive O'Meara, Malek, Dawkins Class of 1959 Strength Development Center. The team arrived at West Point following Saturday's scrimmage against the New Jersey Devils and will depart on Tuesday afternoon for an exhibition against the AHL Philadelphia Phantoms in the Spectrum.
  • Three Reach Singles Finals At Dartmouth Shootout For Men's Tennis
    The Army men's team completed competition at the Dartmouth shootout on Sunday, going 10-10 in singles play. Junior Chris Albornoz, freshman Peter Williams and sophomore Jordan Girdley all reached their respective flight finals, but all three were felled by Dartmouth opponents.
  • Navy Edges Army For Golf Star
    Senior Ryan Wielgus drained a 15-foot putt for birdie on the first playoff hole as Navy edged Army, Sunday in the annual Star Match in front of a nice turnout at the West Point Golf Course. Following seven singles matches, the two-day competition was tied at 5.5 apiece. Army's Matt Krembel, a sophomore who beat Wielgus in a morning match, went to the tee on No. 17, with Wielgus.
