Dear Army 79 Classmate,
Top of the Line! What a great 30th Reunion. Well done, AJ. Thanks to all of our classmates for stepping up to serve on the class board. We will continue to push forward with activities and opportunities for our class to participate and grow.
Highlights for 2010 and beyond:
- Class Gift: Look for the Gift Selection letter from our Chair, AJ Yarmie, in the mail/email.
- 3rd Annual West Point Leadership & Ethics Conference (Mar 11). Army 79 hosted this important leadership conference for 34 high schools in DC Metro at George Mason University for 140 outstanding juniors. LTG (Retired) William Lennox, former Supe, was our keynote speaker. Your financial support is welcome. Let Phil Panzarella or me know if you are interested in hosting your own conference and we can help you get started.
- Class Coin and Miniature Class Flag: Available online.
- Class Knife: Tom Tucker & Ed Fluekiger are offering TOTL 79 knives that you will want to add to your 79 collection - http://www.usaccolades.com/usma-academy.htm.

- Business Network: Phil Panzarella is putting together our concept of operation to help classmates both with employment and business opportunities.
- Improved Communications: Jody Wilkerson will improve our communications with our quarterly newsletter that will be pushed out to the class via email and available on the web.
- Haiti Man-up Challenge: Rick Hyde challenged the class to give at least $50 to your favorite charity supporting the Haiti Relief cause. We challenged Navy 79, Air Force 79 as well as USMA 78 and 80. We have had over 200 classmates participate. If you have not manned up email Rick at

- Bereavement Team: We are considering a team approach to ensure each classmate receives the same Top of the Line treatment when he or his immediate family passes.
Email is our primary means of communications. We continue to be the Top of the Line!
