Dear Army 79 Classmate,
Top of the Line! Our goal continues to be helping classmates by providing more and improved opportunities to network with one another as well as with Army alumni and Navy/Air Force 79 alumni.
HighLights:
Class Gift: Bert Mizusawa will chair the gift selection committee and Doug Doan chairs the gift fund raising committee. The class has accepted the challenge to raise $2.5 million toward our next gift.
30th Reunion is scheduled for Sep 16-20.
Class Officer Elections (Geographic Reps, too) will be held this summer. More details to follow.
Other Events and Activities:
- Class Coin: Available online and at the Reunion.
- Miniature Class Flag: Available at the Reunion.
- 79 Legacy Involvement Team (79LIT): Doug Boone leads our 79LIT events at West Point. This is an opportunity to build new and lifelong friendships amongst our 30 legacy cadets.
- Networking: Chuck Shaw is hosting our 7th annual Army/Navy/Air Force 79 golf scramble at the Stonewall Golf Club, Lake Manassas, VA, Apr/May TBD.
Email is our primary means of communications. Please update your personal AOG data at www.aog.usma.org. & email Dave Freshwater for west-point.org. We have accomplished much, yet there is still much to do. Thank you for your support and confidence. We continue to be the Top of the Line!
