Class Forum E-mail List

This e-mail lists provides the daily interchange between members of the class.  Threads include discussion of current events, information about class gatherings, and any other message that fosters close ties among class members dispersed around the globe.  The list is not used for commercial solicitation.

There is a Digest version of the list.  The Digest version publishes all messages that have been sent in one message.  When the list server buffer fills, a new Digest version of the list is dispatched automatically.

Membership in the list is restricted to graduates of the class of 1979, former cadets/associate members of the Association of Graduates who were formerly members of the Class of 1979, and family members of deceased members of the class.

Class Official E-Mail List

The class "Official" e-mail list was created in response to classmate requests for a list that only contained important information regarding the class or West Point.   Because there is so little traffic on this list, a Digest version of the list is not maintained.

The list moderators respond to requests from class officers to post information to the list, as well as forwarding information gained from other sources about West Point.

Membership in the list is restricted to graduates of the class of 1979, former cadets/associate members of the Association of Graduates who were formerly members of the Class of 1979, and family members of deceased members of the class.
