Planning is underway for our 40th reunion. To facilitate our planning - -
and yours - - we need some important information from you and we
have some important information for you.
First, the important information we need from you. We need a
preliminary headcount in order to determine and secure appropriate
venues and facilities. To provide this information, please send an email to

* Your name and Firstie year company.
* Whether you plan to attend the reunion (needless to say, plans can / do
change, so plan optimistically)
* If so, whether you�ll be solo or accompanied.
* If accompanied, by how many people.
* Your preferred address for email, phone number and snail mail. We plan
to rely principally on email and to send subsequent reunion communications
only with those who indicate that they do plan to attend.

Be sure to indicate that you are with the �West Point Class of 1968� to get
our preferred reunion rate of $129.00 per night - the same room rate as at
our 35th reunion. :-)
* The reunion agenda will follow the pattern of our last several reunions:
Thursday � a morning golf outing and evening welcome party. Friday � an
excursion to West Point for several events and an evening gala at the
hotel. Saturday � a class business meeting, and an excursion to West Point
for cadet P-rade, tailgate and football game, a dinner event with location
TBD. Sunday � prayer breakfast and departure brunch. Subsequent reunion
communications will include event sign-up and cost particulars. Also, a more
detailed �final agenda� will be sent out after details are firmed up.
* You must make your own travel arrangements to the reunion venue. Bus
transportation will be provided for the Friday and Saturday excursions to
West Point.
What to expect next if you indicate that you do plan to attend our 40th
reunion:
* You can expect to receive in the near future a request for an
�earnest money� advanced payment in an amount TBD for each person in your
party. This money will be used to provide working capital for the reunion
planning efforts.
* You can expect to receive materials providing event details including
cost and an opportunity to sign-up for the various reunion events.
* You can expect to receive periodic information updates via email as we
approach our reunion weekend - - if the subject line indicates a 4oth
reunion communication please do not delete before reading.
What to expect if you indicate that you do not plan to attend our 40th
reunion:
* Email and snail mail silence on the subject.
