Annual Class of ‘64 Picnic at the Adams’. Mark your calendars for the first Saturday in June and guess what? This year it’s the 3rd, a most historical anniversary date!!! Your DC crowd always welcomes out-of-towners for this occasion. We have plenty of space to put folks up for this one. More on this soon.
A reminder that the Class of ’64 DC contingent assembles every Tuesday at 5PM at Brion’s Grille for Hamburger Night (Half Price) at University Mall across from George Mason University. If you are visiting the area or just happen to be passing by please stop by. Some of our recent attendees have been LaVoy, Anderson, Spinosa, Robinson, Louis, the Domas Hiking Group and others. If you need info on this contact Mark Brennan at email@example.com or drop me a note.

Bill and Suzanne Annan have been hard at work planning our Mini-Reunion (Old Ryder Cup event) at the Quail Lodge and Golf Club in Carmel, California. The dates are Sunday 29 October through Thursday 2 November, 2017. I continue to hear of Classmates who missed our earlier e-mails. This is not only a golf event. At our last event in Santa Fe we had more “Free Spirit” adventurers than golfers. The Monterey/Carmel area has so much to offer. If you have not indicated your desires to Bill Annan, please drop him a note at Bill_Annan@Comcast.net.
We are two and a butt years away from our 55th Reunion. Again we are looking at a gathering in May, however nothing is locked in concrete. Your committee is open for suggestions and ideas for the 55th. So, start thinking about this and drop me a note at your convenience – email@example.com.
We will do another update of the electronic Ward Book before the 55th. More on this soon.
The ’64 Ski Group has sort of dissolved. It was a great run, and I’m sure a number of you are missing our annual trip to the slopes. Over the past few months I have been approached by a few skiers who would like to keep the group active or maybe have one “Grande Finale”. I would be interested to hear from Classmates on this. Of course we would need some volunteers to pull this off. Contact Dan Evans firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have an increasingly growing number of Classmates and Spouses who are struggling with illnesses and “older” age issues. Some we know, but many desire to keep things confidential. Please, do not hesitate to ask for help, advice and prayers. There are limits to what we can physically do, but one never knows what can be learned from another’s experience with doctors, hospitals, the VA, Medicare, Social Security, etc. Do not hesitate to drop me a note at email@example.com; it will be Confidential.
Marita Madsen Visitation Sunday 8/28/2017 and Monday 8/29/2017 @ Bock Funeral Home, Glenshaw PA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw. Burial will follow at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
Per writes: It has been a difficult departure as Marita was a very active person between her 20 years in Real Estate, her Gardening, Landscaping, Pre School children support and enjoying life with her friends. She never stopped. From a term I was taught many many years ago she was referred at times as my war department or my supreme leader. She was told by one officer’s wife that was part of bringing us together, that she was to train me as a puppy dog. This led to various types of fun over 40+ years. Now the interaction is quiet until we join together in some future place. Marita’s Obituary
