Like Howie I have also been putting together a package for a class get
together. I have been informed that the first two weeks in Sept would be
best. The event would be held in Mesquite NV with easy commute from Las
Vegas. So far I have one person call me from one of the resorts. Double
rooms with breakfast $79 which is not too bad. They will provide a
hospitality suite and will set up excursions for those who do not wish to
play golf. Mesquite has five quality courses one of which was designed by
Palmer.
To date there has been no mini reunion west of the Mississippi. Now is our
chance to have some fun socializing, playing golf, tennis, swimming,
horseback riding, being pampered in first class spas, palying in the
casinos, attending shows by name entertainers, exploring the grandeur in
Hummers, skeet and trap shooting, and trips to Zion national park if so
inclined. I am trying to make this event something for everyone and not just
the golfers. It would not be restricted to west coast types. After the
event several days in Vegas might be an option. Tentative dates would be
arrive on 3 Sep and depart on 7 Sept or 10 Sept arrival and 14 Sept
departure. The rates go up the third week in Sept. Temps will be in low 80s
without humidity and therefore be very comfortable.
A more deatailed message will be sent as soon as I get more details.

In discussions with some of our classmates, Dan Evans has discovered that there are stories that have been written but have not made it to print. He suggested that we might provide a way to present these stories to our classmates.
Have you written a story but have not found a way to get it published? We are providing an avenue for you to display your creative works on line. Finish off that manuscript. Dust off those pages you wrote last year. Send us those military histories, leadership lessons, comedies, works of poetry, and anything else that you deem worthy of being read by our classmates. We will e-publish it on this site. We don't promise anything fancy, just access to your works in whatever forum you send them to us.
Click on the menu link Unpublished Books located in the list to the left of the screen to view the list of offerings that have been forwarded to us.
