Bill Annan is coordinating a "mini" in Colorado in late July 2010.  Golf and other activities will be offered. The following was posted in April 2009.  Bill passed out an updated poop sheet at the reunion.  But I lost it!

Per our discussion on this forum last fall I do still plan to host (with the help of others here in CO) the 2010 '64 Ryder Cup here in CO in July 2010. When we ran it up the flag pole Iast fall the following responded as planning to attend: Murphy, Hall, Conway, Major, Werner, Brinkman, Davis, Olson, Brewer, Russo, McLaughlin, Bryan, Lambert, Carter, Fraser, Magruder, Bennett, Annan. And hopefully there are others that just did not send back a response to the informal inquiry

The event will include wives in the golf (for those wives who desire to play) and per our previous discussions probably pit East vs. West. The final exact line of demarcation for East or West will not be drawn until we know who is attending and in turn be able to determine where we draw the line to have two equal size squads. I am planning on a three day event but will have additional days available for those that want to play more. We have so many great courses here, that if you are not from the area, and as long as you are here, you may want to play as many as you can.

Now that we are about dug out from the snow (3 feet LAST WEEK) I will start to work up some options as to courses and lodging. I will have definitive plans available by reunion time. Because of weather and my other commitments, the event will be in July but the dates will be set so as not to conflict with Independence Day.

This inception of this event was NOT intended to supplant GGs but it can be expanded to be as big as we want it to be as a class golfing event.
