INTRODUCTION:  Welcome to the Class History Project home page.  This project was formally launched at the 45th reunion in mid-September 2003.   The major purpose of the Class History Project was to prepare and publish the 50th Reunion Yearbook in time for our 50th Reunion in May, 2008, and that objective was achieved.  As a follow-on effort, an Addendum to the yearbook with additions and corrections has been completed, and information on that is detailed below.  The Class of 1958 History Database was created to serve as a vehicle for collecting the information needed to prepare the yearbook.  That database will remain on-line as a repository of class history information, and classmates and their families are encouraged to keep it up to date.  (It is also recommended that the “privacy” setting for individual classmate records be set to “Grads Only” or “Classmates Only” rather than remaining “private.”) For assistance in logging in to the database, contact Glenn Brown (LTCBrown@comcast.net) or Dian Wells (info@west-point.org).   REMEMBER:  The data base contains a wealth of information not included in the yearbook, including hundreds of “War Stories & Remembrances” that were not published.

ADDENDUM: 

  • As of September 1, 2009, a four-page addendum is available to provide important classmate information that was omitted from the original publication (bio’s and photographs) and to correct identified errors in the original book.  Two of these pages are in color, and two in black & white.
