The registration for our 60th Reunion which takes place from Wednesday, April 25 to Sunday, April 29, 2018 will be posted on the WPAOG reunion website at the end of January.  You will be notified by email when the site is ready. A survey was done by PD Vanture with the CCQs and we have 345 people planning to attend which includes classmates, spouses, widows and children.

 The Thayer is our principal hotel and is full booked. Our back up hotels are the Holiday Inn Express, the West Point Hotel and the Hampton Inn.

 Transportation information will be posted on the website. Stewart Airport and Westchester County Airport are serviced by some of the major airlines and are closer to WP than Laguardia and Newark.  Ground transportation includes limo service and Uber.

 There will be shuttle buses to  take us to the reunion activities on Friday and Saturday. You are encouraged to use the buses as parking is very restrictive.  Some of the buses are wheel chair accessible.

 The parade will be on Saturday. This is the Retirees Appreciation Day (RAD) weekend at West Point. This is the only spring full dress parade other than the Alumni and Graduation parades. The Class of 1963 will also be with us at the parade. The uniform for the parade as we have had for many reunions will be blue blazer, gray trousers and our white hat.  If you do not have a white hat contact Frank Wascowicz as he has some available.

 Wednesday, April 25 is an optional day but I have looked at the hotel registration lists and the majority will be there on Wednesday. We will have the Benny Havens Room open that afternoon. Chuck Toftoy has once again worked his magic with Sam Adams Brewery. The hotel will allow us to bring our free beer in which  is a first from them.  Wednesday is a good time to have a company dinner as no evening event is planned. Our cocktail hour will be in the Benny Havens room.

 Tom Sands has arranged for a golf event on Thursday which will be the last Dick Groves Tournament. Let Tom know if you plan to play.
