Every
time a '58 classmate writes his wife's
obituary, I am awestruck by the complexity of a life well-lived. We all
know what the "Army lifestyle" was, and all the demands of our
time, but oh my, how we women rose to the occasion and raised wonderful
families and carved out our own niches. How
about you, can you share the things that have brought you joy and
enhanced your own gifts? It's time to celebrate who we are, share our
mutual interests and the next time we meet we can really
know each other.
This
is the place to just share a little or a lot. Write what's on your
mind and send to <usma1958-widows@west-point.org> and let's see where it takes us.
We
have leaders and readers, fit and fun women; hometown and world
travelers. Whatever your special interest, there is someone who shares
your passion and all of us to applaud your individuality.
Here are a few topics to get you started: travel,
genealogy, books, nature, photography, music, art, writing, cooking,
friendships.
