West Point Class of 1956  -   50th Reunion Golf Classic  -   18 to 20 May '06

Concept of the Operation

Thursday, 18 May:  We kick off with afternoon Tee Times at The Garrison Golf Club followed by a Cook-Out dinner there. This is the course across from West Point where we played in '01. Spectacular views and they have expanded their facilities. We will play a "Step-aside Scramble" with mixed ABCD foursomes. Dinner includes tea, coffee-others "no host".

Friday, 19 May :  We have our second round at the West Point Golf Course with mid-morning tee times. Format will be Best Two Balls of Four net, again with mixed ABCD foursomes. Evening is open for pub crawling.

Saturday, 20 May :   We return to the West Point Golf Course with one early and the rest mid-morning tee times. This should allow those who have signed up to finish in time to catch the "Special Early Bird" bus at 1300. The "special" is the same as the "real" Early Bird except for the visits to the Aircraft Carrier and the WTC site. The rest of us will make the evening get-together at the Hilton. Format for the Saturday golf will be Individual Low Net.

HEADQUARTERS :  will be at the Woodlake Hilton starting Wednesday evening the 17th. There is no requirement to stay at the Hilton and if you wish you can stay closer to WP. We will award prizes at one of the Class events during the Reunion proper.
