            Sunday 21 May:
Main Reunion events begin Sunday at 1030, when busses leave the Hilton Hotel for a 1215 Memorial Service at the Cadet Chapel. Next we will have a Class picnic at Ike Hall, followed by a band concert which will premier our specially commissioned march.

            Monday 22 May:
Busses leave the Hilton at 0900 for Ike Hall for a briefing by the Supe. 1330 busses to Kimsey Center, for Dedication of class gift (1430-1500), followed by tours of Class Gift, Randall Hall and Kimsey Center. 1800: Return to hotel for barbeque.

            Tuesday 23 May:
Busses leave the Hilton at 0830 for Alumni exercises at WP, Alumni Parade, lunch in Washington Hall, and tours of WP and new cadet gym or the cemetery. 1600, last busses leave for Return to Hilton for 1900 Cocktail party and 2000 gala banquet.

            Wednesday 24 May:
0900-1100:  Farewell brunch, heart study update and class meeting at hotel.  1300:  Optional trip to Culinary Institute for tour and evening meal. No busses for this event.

There will be a boat trip around Manhattan on the Early Bird.

Presentation of 2LT Bars to the Class of 2006

The Class of 1949 presented each member of the Class of 1999 a set of second lieutenant bars during their Graduation Exercise. This initiated a new tradition that has been followed by subsequent 50th Reunion Classes. We will continue the tradition with the Class of 2006.

Four of our classmates will be selected to participate in the Class of 2006 graduation activities following our reunion. On Friday, 26 May 2006, the classmates and their wives will be guests at the Commandant's Cocktail Party. Later they will be guests of the Class of 2006 at the Graduation Banquet. Saturday morning the men will ride to graduation with the Academic Board and their wives will be bused to Michie Stadium and escorted to the Superintendent's Loge.

The men will be escorted onto the stadium field and seated beside the Firsties. During the ceremony they will greet each new graduate and present him/her a pair of 2LT bars inscribed " 56-06 " on the back. Each box of 2LT bars will contain a card with suitable words of congratulation and best wishes from our class. At the conclusion of the graduation exercises, the classmates will rejoin their wives and attend the Superintendent's post graduation luncheon as guests of the Supe.
