Classmates Steve Boylan & Dave Palmer visit a lovely statue in a Czech park

The two classmates cover up the statue to comply with editorial policy.

Dave Palmer sets the record straight. Here, are his own words, addressing our scribe, Jerry Huff :

Lu and I, with Steve and Margaret, were touring Marienbad earlier this month when we came across a statue in one of the parks. Steve mentioned that he and Dave Johnston had been at that very spot earlier in the year, and had taken a photo for your use.
But to the puzzlement of Dave and Steve, it was not used. Because it is a lovely statue, we could not imagine why, until we reasoned that it must have been because her breasts were bared. Our wives concurred in that conclusion. So, using Class of '56 ingenuity, we covered the offending breasts with our caps while our wives took the photo. The result is the shot showing class teamwork in the interests of meeting editorial requirements. We trust this will fulfill the demanding standards for publication, and submit it accordingly. I'm sure Dave Johnston will applaud this innovative approach. This statue is fast becoming a landmark not to be missed by members of the class of 1956!
Quite apart from exploring parks in the Czech Republic, I heartily recommend the Boylans' "bed and breakfast" in Marktredwitz, Germany. Steve and Margaret are wonderful folks to visit, and there could not be a better spot in Europe for a fifty-sixer to stop for a break.
Cheers....Dave
