That evening, Tanya Miller hosted a reception at her home for the Hornbarger family and friends. Yesterday morning, Pete's ashes were interred during a private ceremony at Forest Lawn cemetery in Buffalo. A beautiful floral tribute in black, gold, and gray from our Class served as a backdrop as airmen of the local U.S.A.F. Reserve unit provided the traditional military salute and Taps. Pete's children asked that his classmates attend this rite as well. It was a fitting farewell to a great friend for those who knew him so well. Cliff & Edie Jones, Dick and Sandy Wargowsky, and Dan & Donna Ludwig were honored to be in attendance. Dan LCA |
