Bill and I were in F2 for our 4-year stay at West Point. Bill was a friend and often joined me on the Area Saturday afternoons. He went on to the Air Force and we lost touch. (MAY Bill rest in peace. -w Bill Welter January 8, 2002) ********************** Bill was my Beast Barracks roommate. We liked each other and stayed in touch for the four years, but not after graduation. I remember how thrilled he was to be accepted by the Air Force where he served twenty-one years before retiring.
