George Gordon (Max) Rhinehart was born on 26 September 1930 in New York. He was appointed to West Point from the Regular Army and entered on 3 July 1951. He was in Company B1 and resigned on 4 June 1953. At the time of his resignation, his class order of merit was 38. He died on 15 November 1992.
