Dad has had a stroke and has a blood infection and a UTI. He is unable to move by himself but was able to finally get liquid down by himself. He is currently at Virginia Hospital in room 631. It looks like he will be there a while and need physical therapy. I will keep you updated and you are welcome to contact me at anytime. My cell is 407 717 8156.

I spoke with the doctor today and dad is doing worse then I thought. The doctor said how he is now is as good as its going to get. He will not be able to go home he has to go to a nursing home and be on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. He will either same the same or get worse in time and no idea how to tell right now. His body is so stressed right now his heart and or lungs could fail. They talked about moving him to a nursing home this weekend and will keep you all updated as soon as I know. Dad has been moved to a nursing home in fairfax called Manor Care near Fair Oaks mall.

He is in room 109 and the address is 12475 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy and number is 703 352 7172

His mobility skills are getting better and his spirits are high they will be starting physical therapy today.

He will be on an IV antibiotic for 6 more weeks for the bacterial infection in his heart valve. His speech is better and is able to eat soft food. I will keep you updated and thank you all for your support and prayers.

I am happy to report that dad is doing better and has been able to walk a short distance with assistance. It is still painful but he is a trooper and gets better every day. He is having a swallow test done today to ensure everything is ok there. He will be at the nursing home for a couple more weeks. He has to finish the antibiotic for the heart value infection and more physical therapy due to the stroke. I will send updates when I know more. In the meantime please feel free to contact me if you want.

He is survived by his daughter, Leanne, and will be buried at Quanico, VA.
