William Benassi

I sadly report the following information about our ex-classmate Bill Benassi:

Bill passed away in Hospice Care at the VA Hospital in North Hills, CA on 10 November 2018. He had been hospitalized following a major stroke in mid October. Bill will be greatly missed by his three children and their spouses, seven grandchildren and Carola, his wife of thirty-six years.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., 15 December at Saint Mary of the Desert, 3100 15th Street West, Rosamond, CA. Private internment will be at a later date.

Bill will also be missed by this old roommate and his wife, Sharon.

Bill Benassi

Sharon and I represented our class at a Rosary and Mass for Bill Benassi at Saint Mary of the Desert, Rosamond, CA. on 15 December 2018. Among the items on display in Bill's memory were a cap bearing a 'U.S. Army Retired' patch, a copy of the West Point Alma Mata and several pictures of Bill during his cadet days and with classmates.
