Frank Jay Robertson

Frank Jay Robertson was born on26 November1932 in New York, New York. He was appointed to West Point from the 25th Congressional District of New York and entered on 5 July 1950, discharged on 2 January 1951 for deficiency in Mathematics; reexamined in March 1951, declared proficient and joined the Class of 1955 on 30 August 1951. He was in Company M1, graduated on 7 June 1955 and was commissioned in the US Army in the Infantry.

Frank Jay Robertson

Col. Frank J. Robertson, 71, U.S. Army Retired of Chester, died Sunday, February 1, 2004. He was a graduate of West Point. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He is the son of the late Francis J. and Elizabeth Brown Robertson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alida W. Robertson.

He is survived by two sons, Frank J. Robertson Jr. of Lancaster, Va. and Wallace J. Robertson of Chester; brother, Russell J. Robertson of Beaufort, N.C.; sister, Jacqueline R. Prusak of Hopewell Junction, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake, Va. with full military honors. Family is being served by the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
