Robert Lee LaFrenz

Robert Lee LaFrenz was born on 20 May 1932 in Orchard, Nebraska. He was appointed to West Point from the 3rd Congressional District of Nebraska and entered on 3 July 1951. He was in company L1, graduated on 7 June 1955 and was commissioned in theUS Army in the Corps of Engineers.

Robert Lee LaFrenz

May 20, 1932 - Feb. 24, 2000

Robert Lee LaFrenz, 67, of El Cajon died Thursday. He was born in Center, Neb. Mr. LaFrenz was retired after working as an engineer, and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He belonged to the Society of American Military Engineers and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Marvel Jean LaFrenz; daughter, Marlee Leavitt of Lakeside; son, David Lee LaFrenz of La Mesa; mother, Lillie LaFrenz of El Cajon; sister, Carma Kreitler of Nevada; and four grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday, First United Methodist Church, 2111 Camino Del Rio South.
