John Nicholas Calley, 2nd

John Nicholas Calley, 2nd was born 6 August 1929 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was appointed to West Point from the 14th Congressional District of New Jersey; discharged on 2 January 1951 for deficiency in Mathematics; reexamined in March 1951 and found proficient and joined the Class of 1955 on 30 August 1951. He was in Company B2 and was the company Supply Sergeant his first class year. He graduated on 7 June 1955 and was commissioned in the US Army in the Infantry.

John N. Calley, 73, of Allamuchy, senior bank exec, Eucharistic aide

A Mass for John N. Calley, 73, of Allamuchy Township will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, 305 High St., Hackettstown, after the funeral from the Cochran Funeral Home, Hackettstown.

Mr. Calley died Wednesday in Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.

He was a senior vice president with Hudson United Bank, Morristown.

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., he received a master's degree from New York University and graduated from the Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers University.

Mr. Calley served in the Army during peacetime.

He was a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, Hackettstown.

Born in Jersey City, he lived in East Orange before moving to Allamuchy Township 32 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie; daughters, Grace Mac Aulay, Marion L. Wotasek, Lisa M. Reardon and Cynthia A. Calley, and six grandchildren.
