2013 Class Trip On The Mississippi River
Rod Vitty is currently out of country, but before departing, he asked me to provide the following info:
Reminder that there are still a few slots on the Stern Wheeler for our 2013 trip down the Mississippi from Memphis to New Orleans. We depart from Memphis on Nov 9, 2013 and end up in New Orleans on the 16th.
American Cruise Lines (ACL) has recommended a hotel in Memphis for those that wish to arrive there early and one in New Orleans should you want to hang out there for a day or so after the cruise. A discount will be available for each of those hotels. Rates for 2013 are not yet available, but FYI the recommended hotels are:
Memphis: Westin Memphis Beal Street
New Orleans: Wyndham River Front
ACL will also have recommendations on travel back to Memphis from NO for those that may want to return to pick up their car or whatever. Those recommendations will be published when we get closer the travel time.
Call ACL (800-814-6880) and identify yourself under Group Number C100199.
Our Group Name is “USMA Class of ‘55” and our Cruise Name is 369-Memphis to New Orleans.
Ask for Josephine Cervera. A deposit of $200 per person will hold a slot for you.
