Certificate of Extension of Purposes of the ASSOCIATION OF THE

GRADUATES OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY

pursuant to section 30 of the Membership Corporations Law.

We, the undersigned, being respectively the President and the Secretary of the Association of the Graduates of the United States Military Academy do hereby certify as follows:

1. The name of the corporation is the ASSOCIATION OF THE GRADUATES OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY.

2. The Certificate of Incorporation of said corporation was filed in the office of the Secretary of State on the 13th day of November, 1891.

3. The corporation has more than 500 members.

4. The purposes of the corporation are hereby amended and extended as follows:

Paragraph second of the Certificate of Incorporation as amended by Paragraph 3 of the Certificate of Amendment of Certificate of Incorporation, which at present reads as follows:

"The object of the Association shall be to cherish the memories of the Military Academy intercourse and fraternal fellowship."

is hereby amended to read as follows:

"The objects of the Association shall be to acquire and disseminate information on the history, activities, objectives and methods of the United States Military Academy; to acquire and preserve historical materials relating to that institution'. and to encourage and foster the study of military science there by worthy young men."

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have made and subscribed this certificate in duplicate this 5th day of July 1949.

CHAUNCEY L. FENTON and CHARLES N. BRANHAM, being severally duly sworn, do depose and say and each for himself deposes and says:

That he the said Chauncey L. Fenton is the President of the Association of the Graduates of the United States Military Academy and he the said Charles N. Branham is the Secretary thereof; that they have been authorized to execute and file the foregoing certificate by the votes of a

majority of the members of the corporation present and entitled to vote on an extension of purposes1 and that such votes were cast at a meeting of the members held at West point, State of New York, on the 6th day of June, 1949, at 12:15 o'clock, upon notice pursuant to section 43 of the Membership Corporations Law.
