- Our reunion dates are locked in from 10-13 September 2009. By now (next Assembly publication) all should have received a formal letter announcing the reunion dates with a reply postcard. The postcard will be used to confirm mailing addresses and e-mail addresses. We also need folks to indicate if they cannot use e-mail for further announcements and if they require the use of US mail. We intend to use e-mail and our Class Web Site to the maximum extent possible. If anyone does not get the mailing, please let us know. Dan can always be reached at 703-978-5182.
- We have reserved most of the rooms at the Thayer and Holiday Inn for the reunion. As a result of the telephone issues we had five years ago, we will (in an upcoming letter/e-mail) announce a fairer system for 2009. Do not call the Thayer or Holiday Inn. Wait for our upcoming instructions in late July/early August.
- For the reunion, many are planning to come to West Point as early as Monday, September 7th (Labor Day). The golfers are planning at least three outings and others are looking at local tours and visits. Why not come early and see the sights of West Point and the mid-Hudson. More on this in the next few months.
- There is a football game against Duke scheduled for Saturday, the 12th.
- Attached are a few photos from our annual DC area picnic hosted by Marylee and Jim Adams. Almost 90 attended this year, about 50 Classmates. A great annual event. Our guest of honor this year was LTG Trefry.
